5 Weeks to go...

Hey guys, it is 5 weeks today till mFEST! How scary is that...



Keep your eyes peeled for our ads on the back of buses, bus shelters, phone boxes - we are everywhere, we are the air that you breathe :)

We recently got our brochures back and have already had to get a second run printed, 20,000 already out there!

Why hello there, how are you all? Just wanted to check that you know about our mPOWER films. Every Friday at macrobert you can get a ticket for a hand picked film for only £2. The only catch is you have to be between 12 and 17.

This weeks film is Kick Ass, and if I am being honest with you, the film Kicks Ass! It really is fantastic so why not get yourself along and buy a ticket. Although, this film is a 15, so sorry to the 12-14 year-olds!

Well the time has come to put you all out of your misery and tell you what acts will be headlining mFEST....

Hip hop sensation Tinchy Styder will be playing The Albert Halls, supported by Daisy Dares You and Pearl and The Puppets.





La Fura Del Baus, the internationally renowned physical theatre company will be coming all the way from Spain and taking on 20 local young people to create an out of this world performance.




Fife born comedian Daniel Sloss will be bringing you Teenage Kicks ensuring you get more than a few giggles!T ickets priced individually.

Now it is weird saying "Hello" on these, but this is our first post on our shiny new mPOWER blog so "Hello" is a good place to start.

This is going to be the place where you can read all about what is going on with mPOWER (updates from the festival, links and instructions on how to book tickets, information on what we are having for breakfast, all the important things).

The point of the mPOWER blog is to chat about everything and anything we find interesting. It will not always be to do with the mPOWER project, it may just be something we like and want to share!
